A. Lange & Sohne Richard Lange Jumping Seconds in Pink Gold (Specs & Price)
Last year at the SIHH 2016, German watch manufacturer, A. Lange & Sohne, debuted the deliciously complex Richard Lange Jumping Seconds. Offered in a platinum case and produced in a limited series of just 100 pieces, it was an instant hit with collectors. Following on from this success, this minimalist timepiece is now being made available in an attractive pink gold case, complete with matching accents on the dial and buckle. As with the platinum model, this series will be limited to just 100 pieces, preserving the exclusivity of this exceptional mechanical machine.A Quick RecapThe Richard Lange Jumping Seconds is a timepiece that we've previously written about extensively here on Monochrome. If you haven't done so already, I would recommend reading this excellent in-depth article by Xavier, which really does a great job of explaining the jumping seconds (or dead second) complication, as well as the constant force mechanism and the zero-reset mechanism. The Longines A-7 Avigation: American Air Power - Monochrome Watches
In the early days of aviation, the military aviator's watch was an instrument of performance and precision. Richard Mille Tourbillon G-Sensor RM-036 Jean Todt Limited Edition - Monochrome Watches
An outrageous idea that a watchmaker dreams up, and developing it into a fully functional timepiece really inspires me. Take for instance the Oculus-mechanism in the Valbray V.01 or the liquid hour marker in the HYT H1 are perfect examples of such out-of-the-box creativity. Richard Mille in its own right, is a brand not shy of pushing the proverbial envelope as well. Always innovative, always creative, and quite frankly, always stunning to withhold. Even for those who might not find the design appealing, the craftsmanship is most certainly appreciative. RM is no stranger to (motor)sports, having already released quite a number of timepieces involving key-ambassadors like racing drivers Felipe Massa and Jules Bianchi. Both of these men represent wh

This is it… Somehow unexpected but also envisioned by some collectors, the new Black Bay Fifty-Eight Navy Blue. We thought Tudor was not introducing new models this year, and they proved us wrong. First in line for 2020 (and maybe the only new model), a rather simple but efficient animation of an existing watch. Based on the praised and well-executed model introduced a couple of years ago, the brand now adds a cold colour scheme to its vintage-inspired diver.Blue is part of Tudor’s identity and has been widely used in past and modern models. We’re not going to go into full details here since we’ll be having a hands-on with this watch in a few days. But here’s what you need to know in a glance. Blue is an important colour for Tudor, mostly seen in the highly collectable Submariner watches manufactured for the French Navy (Marine Nationale). As such, we’ve seen multiple editions of modern Tudor watches presented in this desirable colour, including the 4
