Online Watch Shopping While the Confinement Lasts - Part 2
A few days ago we gave a big shout-out to some of our friends who also run online watch magazines. However, the online world for watch shopping offers much more choice! Now that you’re (most likely) in confinement – hopefully well and healthy – you can still buy watches and have them delivered to your door. Besides the friends that we already mentioned in the previous article, it can also be helpful to have a look at webshops of retailers and brands who have embraced e-commerce. Auction - The Pink Dial Project for Breast Cancer Awareness
Watches and charity… When there’s a good cause, many watch brands don’t hesitate long and donate one of their, often unique, creations. Earlier this year, Wei Koh, founder of Revolution magazine and The Rake, reached out to join forces in order to raise money for breast cancer. He baptized this the Pink Dial Project. In early 2020, Andrew from Time + Tide Watches quickly organized the Watch & Act! auctio

Leaving behind the Year of the Ox, 2022 welcomes the Year of the Tiger, an animal revered in China as the king of all beasts. Since the Year of the Snake in 2013, Chopard has celebrated the Chinese New Year with splendid timepieces dedicated to the zodiac animal and decorated with the ancestral Asian technique of Urushi lacquer. As in past years, the watch selected to host the artwork is the ultra-thin and elegant 39.50mm L.U.C XP in ethical 18k rose gold. The Year of the TigerA recurrent figure in Chinese art, the tiger is associated with courage, confidence, fortune and intelligence.
