Hands-On - Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 600m Orange Bezel White dial 215.30.44.21.04.001 (Specs & Price)
The Omega Seamaster is more than a collection. It is an entire family of watches, all inspired by the sea… Nautical, sporty, diver-oriented or even elegant, the Seamaster has been around since 1948 – you can watch at this in-depth video for a complete history of the Seamaster. Among all the watches in the family, one has been quiet for a while, the Planet Ocean, but this year, it makes a strong comeback with the colour that is, to us, the real deal with this professional?timepiece. There are multiple milestone moments in the 71-year-old life of the Omega Seamaster: 1948 – creation of the model; 1957- introduction of the Seamaster 300 CK2913, which will define the collection as mostly a dive watch; 1995 – creation of the Seamaster Diver 300M, which will become famous as the James?Bond Watch. 2005 was another important date for this extensive family of watches, and marked the debut of a new collection, a higher-end, even more professionally-oriented watch, the Plan
Introducing: The Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra 150M Titanium
With the 2024 Paris Olympics in full swing, and Omega being the official timing partner for the entire event, it’s impossible to ignore the brand. Especially when prior to and during the four weeks of epic sports on display, new watches are being released. Following the official 2024 Olympics edition of the Speedmaster Chronoscope and the lovely Bronze Gold version of the CK 859 (shame about the solid caseback though), a colourful new addition Seamaster Aqua Terra 150M Ultra-Light could be spotted on the wrist of Omega ambassador Armand “Mondo” Duplantis. This tribute to the Swedish-American pole vaulter, who just cleared 6.25m to set a new Olympic record, has a bright blue-and-yellow colour scheme. Let’s find out more!Every now and then, Omega quietly releases a new watch and they’ve just done it again. A new colourful iteration of the Seamaster Aqua Terra 150M Titanium Ultra-Light could be seen on Armand “Mondo” Duplantis’ wrist during
Our Favourite Watches of "Time To Move" Swatch Group Event - Monochrome Watches
The news broke last summer – Nick Hayek announced that from 2019 onwards, Swatch Group and its brands would no longer be present at Baselworld. As a consequence, the luxury powerhouse decided to organise its own product presentation “Time To Move” for its most luxurious brands: Breguet, Blancpain, Glashutte Original, Harry Winston, Jaquet Droz and Omega. First for retailers in Zurich in March, and then for the press in each of the brand's Manufactures (except for Glashutte Original). Held mid-May, the unveiling of these novelties came later than usual and we were very curious to see what surprises the Swatch Group high-end brands had in store for us. Here are our favourite watches from “Time To Move” - which we have limited to just one watch per brand.Note: this selection is based on a consensus among the MONOCHROME team. It reflects our preferences of the watches unveiled during “Time To Move”. If there are other watches you'd love to mention,

Must Read - May 'Revenge Spending' Spur Luxury Rebound From Virus?
It’s no secret that the current situation with COVID-19 has had dramatic effects on the consumption of luxury goods, including watches. Manufactures are closed ( , Patek, AP, TAG Heuer and many more have ceased operations for a couple of weeks), and even though shops might be opened in certain regions, the mood isn’t ripe for spending USD 10,000 on a luxury watch, simply because no one can predict how the situation will evolve in a couple of weeks from now. The industry has started to suffer from the effects of Coronavirus and a crisis is to be expected. But what if something known as ‘revenge spending’ could be the positive outcome to put some cash back into watch brands’ pockets?Beijing, China, 10 March 2020 – Chinese women wear protective masks as they walk by a luxury store – Photo by Kevin Frayer/Getty ImagesThe idea of ‘revenge spending’ isn’t new and was already used to describe the?Chinese consumer demand that was unle
