Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Diver White Gold 15720CN Review
Born in 1993, the Royal Oak Offshore collection was at the time of launch probably one of the most impactful models the watchmaking world had ever seen. Bold and provocative, it quickly became a reference point for all other future ultra-sporty luxurious watches. Following the chronograph models, Audemars Piguet created in 2005 another important watch, the Royal Oak Offshore Diver?(first entitled Royal Oak Offshore Scuba). Offered in vibrant colours and cool combinations of materials, the Diver has undergone a deep update earlier this year, with a new collection that we discovered here. And it’s time now for the upgraded?Royal Oak Offshore Diver to get its first limited edition, which is all about luxury and contrast.?If the name Royal Oak Offshore Diver appeared in 2010, this specific sub-collection was initiated in 2005, with the launch of the Offshore Scuba. Walking in the footsteps of its chronograph sibling, a watch born in 1993 and nicknamed “The Beast”, AP deci
F.H. Bennahmias, CEO of Audemars Piguet, about coming classical collection and integrated chronograph - Exclusive video interview for Monochrome - Monochrome Watches

Telling the truth and giving proper insights on the state of the watchmaking industry or on what a brand is about to launch, what are the coming developments, is not the rule. However, the interview?you’re about to look at is slightly different. One thing is sure; Fran?ois-Henry?Bennahmias isn’t shy to tell the truth and to give us some very interesting clues on what Audemars Piguet is working on for the coming years. IWC Re-Engineers Ingenieur for 2013! - Monochrome Watches
Progress can be an unsentimental and unforgiving thing. Sometimes we must move on and forsake the past in anticipation of the future. Fortunately for IWC and their Ingenieur line - the past is not such a bad thing!? Instead of obliterating it IWC have chosen to evolutionize it!To hardcore watch fans, few names elicit a primal response like the IWC Ingenieur. Drawing back to the middle of the last century - the Ingeniuer was IWC's show piece. With it's Albert Pellaton designed bidirectional movement, IWC was able to enter the vanguard of sports watchmakers circa 1955. Over the past 58 years the line of watches and it's movement have been steadily refined and improved. For 2013 IWC have just taken the wraps off of a freshly redesigned Ingeniuer line-up; the new pieces look just that - new, but the family lineage going back the fabled Ref. 1832, penned by one of the most important and influential watch designers of all time - Gerald Genta. Hands-On: The New TAG Heuer Carrera Skipper Chronograph
With 60 years of history behind its name, you can certainly expect the emblematic Carrera to have been offered in more than just a few editions. In fact, countless styles, movements and shapes have been used over the years. Some are, arguably, more iconic than others. In addition to the classic silver or panda dials found on the first-generation models, the brand has long been creative, releasing original dials such as the Montreal-inspired Carrera or, looking back at the 1960s, a version known to be one of the most collectable and most distinctive; the Carrera Skipper. The brightly-coloured, instantly recognizable regatta chronograph is back, 40 years after it disappeared from the collection.?The Heuer Carrera Skipper name refers to more than just one watch, however, a model in particular (which you can see below) surely defines the look of this watch. The Skipper has seen the light of day in 1968, and has been in production up until 1983. Although later versions of the Skipper used t
