Luxury Watches |
The Prospex SBEC003 by Seiko was released in 2016. It is a masterfully crafted diver's watch. The dial of the watch is a beautiful blue with a sunburst finish. The date is displayed between the 4 and 5 o'clock positions. The index markers and hands of the dial are both luminescent. The case of the watch measures 46mm in diameter and is made from stainless steel. The bracelet of the watch is also crafted from stainless steel. The watch is waterproof up to 200m making it an excellent choice for a diver's watch.

Baume & Mercier Capeland Shelby Cobra 1963 & Capeland Shelby Cobra 1963 Competition (specs & price) - Monochrome Watches
Now that the SIHH?is opened, we have already seen the main novelties of IWC, Jaeger, Lange and Vacheron for example. However, we shouldn't forget another brand, which despite being the most exclusive one also creates interesting and well-priced timepieces. Usually playing on the classical side, this year Baume & Mercier goes bold and sporty. After the first editions we showed you here, here are the new editions of the?Baume & Mercier Capeland Shelby Cobra 1963 & Capeland Shelby Cobra 1963 Competition. The first editions of the?Baume & Mercier Capeland Shelby Cobra were of course classical and faithful to the car it pays tribute to. In the common psyche, the?Shelby AC Cobra was blue with large white stripping's. Thus, the watches were showing the same colors, with blue dials, light blue stripes and silver sub-dials (and a few red accents… racing theme obliged). For the SIHH 2016, Baume & Mercier continues the partnership and introduces new editions, also based o
Introducing The Patek Philippe Aquanaut Luce Annual Calendar 5261R
Patek Philippe’s patented annual calendar mechanism (1996) debuts inside an Aquanaut model for 2023. Presented in a unisex 39.9mm rose gold case with a bluish-grey dial, the annual calendar brings a useful and easy-to-use complication to the Aquanaut family. A new automatic movement with an inverted annual calendar module powers the Aquanaut Luce Annual Calendar. In 1997, Patek Philippe launched its sporty chic Aquanaut, nearly two decades after the debut of its iconic Nautilus luxury steel sports watch. With its rounded octagonal case, clearly inspired by that of the Nautilus, and tropical composite strap, the more modern spirit of the Aquanaut was out to capture a new, younger audience. The Aquanaut Luce, a ladies’ version of the watch, joined the catalogue in 2004. Forgive us for differing, but although the brand catalogues this new model as a ladies’ watch, we think it works exceptionally well as a gent’s watch. Ad - Scroll to continue with article
Hands-On - The New Series of Accessible Merci Instruments LMM-01
There is no denying the importance of the microbrand scene in the past couple of years. We’ve seen so many new projects coming on stage and some with a pretty impressive sense of design. Fresh, unique, disruptive or, on the contrary, highly classical, there’s room for many new actors. Well, today we’ll be talking about a trio of watches that such a microbrand could have made… Except that behind Merci Instruments is an entity that is miles away from the watchmaking scene. And yet, the three new Merci Instruments LMM-01 you see here are clearly timepieces?in a noble version of the word.?Here’s a slightly personal and rather funny story. Merci is what you could name a concept store, a retail experience that isn’t focused on a single typology of product but more on a selection of products that could fit together as an ensemble. The goal of Merci Paris was originally to gather emerging brands and designers and collect funds for non-profitable organisation
Tudor Heritage Black Bay 36 Ref. 79500 - Review with Specs & Price
I must admit that, when the Tudor Heritage Black Bay 36 Ref. 79500 was introduced at Baselworld 2016, I was quite indifferent towards it. Instead my attention?was focused on?all the other Black Bay's, the black, the total black and the bronze. These I said to myself were proper watches, bold, and greatly executed. The 36mm meanwhile was a watch I just could not understand. However, when I finally had the chance to strap it on my wrist for a few?days, in order to write this review, I started to realize how much it reminded me of?that famous line?from the great F. A. Porsche: A formally harmonious product needs no decoration, it should be elevated through pure form. Thus my attitude began to?completely change. This watch has something special, read our?review of the Black Bay 36 to discover exactly what it is.The Tudor Heritage Black Bay 36 Ref. 79500The basic idea of this model is to sit below the now standard 41mm Black Bay and the not-so-standard 43mm-bronze, which are basically retro
Kickstarter Project: the Analog Watch Co Mason Watch - Solid Marble Timepiece - Monochrome Watches
The Analog Watch Co has just started a Kickstarter program to fund the launch of their newest timepiece. The Philadelphia-based watch company has already made a name with the Carpenter’s Watch, which is the world’s only wooden watch with a flexible wood band, and it’s a bestseller in the MoMA Design Stores. Now they’re coming with another “nature-inspired” timepiece, entirely made of marble, and called the Mason Watch.Analog Watch Co says that the Mason Watch is “the world’s first stone watch with a solid body and face made of real marble” and that could well be so. However we would like to treat you to?a short history lesson: in 1985 the Swiss brand Tissot first introduced a watch made in stone; it was crafted from a solid piece of Alpine granite rock. Tissot actually has some more ‘firsts’, like the IDEA 2001 (the world’s first plastic watch, introduced in 1971), the Pearl Watch (the world’s first (and only
