For people interested in something meant for an active lifestyle, along with being playful, there is the Seiko STBR007 Prospex Diver wristwatch. As the name states, this watch is meant for deep diving, and thus, it's highly water resistant. As far as the design goes, it has a black rubber strap which is comfortable on the skin. The display is black but makes use of silver in the hands, the minute marker, and the hours to give you some color. It boasts a very simple design, but in a manner which exudes a sense of activeness for the wearer.

Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Concept Black Panther Flying Tourbillon Review
The turn of the new century has heralded a new era for popular culture: we are living in Hollywood's comic-book age. Superheroes are getting increasingly popular as their movies are seen by billions. Inspired by historical character watches, including some of Gerald Genta’s timepieces from the 1980s, Audemars Piguet announced a few weeks ago their partnership with Marvel Entertainment and its intention to pay tribute to their inspirational superheroes and powerful universe. The brand now unveils the first watch born from this partnership. Meet the Royal Oak Concept Black Panther Flying Tourbillon. When Audemars Piguet announced their collaboration with Marvel, many wondered what would the platform to stage Stan Lee’s popular comic characters and universe. A new collection? Code 11.59? The Royal Oak Offshore? Audemars Piguet elected the Royal Oak Concept, which has always been, since its presentation in 2002, the brand's lab for experimentation And it has been significantly r
Introducing The Tudor Pelagos FXD Chrono Cycling Edition
You might remember that, a bit over a year ago, we’ve shared with you the story of one of our editors (Xavier, an avid cyclist himself) participating in a training camp with the recently formed Tudor Pro Cycling Team. Part of the trip, and of great interest for us as a watch magazine, was the discovery of an unseen-before watch, a special edition of the Black Bay Chrono Dark. Back then, this watch was a so-called team watch, not available to the general public. Well, it turns out that Tudor has decided on this late Friday evening to treat us, right after Watches and Wonders, with yet another novelty. And it’s this new Tudor Pelagos FXD Chrono Cycling Edition. It’s a surprise to see Tudor releasing a watch related to cycling based on the FXD concept – an acronym related to the “fixed” nature of the lugs that were first introduced on the FXD Marine Nationale. What’s less surprising is that we’re looking at a chronograph watch, but then again
Skeletonized to the MAX: Kees Engelbarts Bronze Organic Skeleton Tourbillon - Monochrome Watches
A few years ago Kees Engelbarts showed me photos of his latest creation that we covered here. I was baffled to see by what degree one could skeletonize a mechanical movement. In all honesty, I wasn’t sure whether I really liked it or was “just” very impressed by the incredible craftsmanship this takes. Last month I visited?Kees Engelbarts in Geneva, his home town, and got to see his latest creations. Now I knew I do like what I saw, and today we’re going to show you his highly skeletonized tourbillon watch, which also happens to be his first watch in bronze.?Skeleton vs. Open-WorkedI’m guessing that you have seen a few skeleton watches before. However the moniker “skeleton watches” is often used for so-called open-worked watches, as well as for true skeleton watches.?Before we go any further, let me briefly explain the difference. In short,?open-worked watches feature an entire movement, or at least some movement parts, that are partially open.
First Look: The Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra with new Glossy Black Dial
The Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra has carved out a unique spot in the Seamaster family as a stylish, versatile, and durable everyday watch, perfect for both land and sea. While not classified as a professional dive watch, it offers a comfortable 150m water resistance (aqua), classic aesthetics, and a precise movement that seamlessly transitions from the office to any adventure (terra). This Seamaster is designed by Omega to be an all-rounder, suitable for everyday wear, in any setting, and for virtually any occasion. The model is available in an array of colours and materials with 3 main sizes: 41mm, 38mm and 34mm. Over 100 different references are listed on the brand’s website, including the recent Mondo Duplantis edition. But as more options are surely not a bad thing, we are getting a new, stark black dial bringing a modern edge to the classic design, enhancing its elegance and versatility.?The Seamaster Aqua Terra is now rounded out with a new black dial available in all three s
Hands-On - Does the New Zenith Elite Classic Live Up To its Predecessor?
The Elite Classic represents Zenith's vision of the elegant dress watch. Being the less famous sibling of the El Primero movement, it was long overlooked. But earlier this year, the brand from Le Locle revealed its completely revamped take on the Elite. It was received with praise. As I happen to own the previous generation of this model, it was a great opportunity to compare both pieces. Is the new version also a better one? Earlier this year, the Zenith Elite finally got the facelift it desperately needed. The most striking aspect of this renewed family is the stamped radial sunray pattern on the dial, giving the watches an expressive and dynamic face. Possible colours for the dial are classic, with options for blue, grey and white. Straps are available in the same colours and brown. It has been presented in time-and-date and with a moon phase complication, and it is available in both a gold and a steel case measuring 40,5mm. Prices start at CHF 5,900.The new Z
