One more gorgeous creation of Seiko. The Prospex Diver Scuba Lowercase Limited Edition comes with an amazing dial that has a jet black background and is marked with lumibrite hands and index markings that gives a unique glow in the dark. Further, the bezel has a black theme with a little addition of red at the top-right corner to create a nice color duo. With a high-quality water-protection build, the watch is suitable for diving.

Channeling Your Inner Gordon Gekko With Six Yellow Gold Watches
Trends come and go, and we see the same happening in the watchmaking industry. Retro is still very much hot, so it’s only natural multiple brands dive into their archives and see what can be brought back to life one way or another. Other brands might rather take a prised baby into new directions by pairing together new materials and colours. With these ebb and flow movements of the industry, however, some surprising styles pop up every now and then. Until not too long ago yellow gold was often seen as too flashy, too outspoken a material, but it seems it has broken those shackles again, and is on the up and up! So with that in mind, we once more take a look at six full yellow-gold watches to satisfy your inner Gordon Gekko.piaget polo 79In what is a celebratory year for both the Polo (45 years) and Piaget itself (150 years), the party kicks off with this superb Polo 79. This brings back the original design of the Polo, as envisioned by Yves Piaget in the late 1970s. The full yell
Hands-On with the very Monochrome Hublot Big Bang Unico Sapphire All Black - Monochrome Watches
Monochrome and exposing intricate mechanics definitely sounds like something we love here, at Monochrome-Watches! Living up to the promise and presented at Baselworld 2016, the Hublot Big Bang Unico Sapphire All Black features a smoked transparent case crafted out of sapphire, based on the already introduced clear version. Time to go hands-on with a time-stopper not to be left in the dark.Light and ShadowsWhen Hublot presented the Big Bang in 2005, innovation in materials was the central idea. Its sandwiched' case construction was designed to work with different metals or composites, and was the platform to build exploration expertise in innovative materials: scratchproof gold (the Magic Gold, Hublot's own alloy, a porous ceramic filled with 24k gold), hi-tech ceramics, magnesium or carbon fiber to name a few - and even some high-end Berluti leather. Hands-on with the new Jaeger-LeCoultre Geophysic True Second and Universal Time (Photos, Specs & Price) - Monochrome Watches
Last year Jaeger-LeCoultre introduced the Geophysic 1958 in three limited editions, and today the Maison returns?with four new models of the Geophysic collection. The limited editions of last year have all been sold out (rather quick!) and while nobody had foreseen that JLC would turn the Geophysic into a new collection, that’s exactly what they did. And they added some interesting horological content to this new collection, which?somehow perfectly fits the bill. Shortly before the official release, we had the chance to get some hands-on experience. Let’s have a closer look at the Jaeger-LeCoultre Geophysic True Second and Geophysic Universal Time. The Geophysic 1958 was heavily inspired on the original vintage models – or we could say a reissue that’s very true to its origin. Like it’s ancestor it sported similar tool-watch features, like a soft-iron inner case to protect the movement from magnetic radiation. We covered the Geophysic’s history (and l
Harry Winston Histoire de Tourbillon 10 (Hands-on, Specs & Price)
The “Histoire de Tourbillon” saga by Harry Winston is coming to an end. This series of watches was the home for some of the most extravagant pieces created by the brand, together with the Opus series. Having previously used tourbillons with single, double or triple axes, combined (or not) with single or double tourbillons or a carousel, Harry Winston’s latest creation is the last page of an impressive book. But like all good stories, the end is mind-blowing. Meet the Harry Winston Histoire de Tourbillon 10, the first watch ever equipped with four tourbillons in a single movement. Background: Multiple Regulator WatchesRecently, our technical editor Xavier wrote the perfect story to start this article: “A Technical Perspective – Understanding the Concept of Multiple-Regulator Watches“. This couldn’t be more accurate in this context. But before we move to the reasons behind the use of multiple regulators, let’s have a quick overview of the in
Vacheron Constantin Historiques Triple Calendar 1948 (Specs & Price)
There is no question Vacheron Constantin makes exceptionally fine timepieces. The brand really comes into its element though when it focuses its attention on vintage-inspired models (in my humble opinion at least). These models invariably belong to the Historiques collection, which celebrates some of the brand's significant models from the past by offering a fresh take. My previous favourite was the 1955 Cornes de Vache Chronograph launched in 2015 but that model was recently usurped by the Vacheron Constantin Historiques Triple Calendar 1948 I am reviewing here today – which is the luxurious and moon phase-equipped sister of the steel?Historiques Triple Calendar 1942 reviewed here.BackgroundGiven that this collection focuses on historic models, it seems only fair to add in a bit of history for context. As you are no doubt aware, the Triple Calendar 1948 was launched last year with a stablemate, the Triple Calendar 1942 in steel (read Brice's excellent review of that watch here).
