Romain Grosjean's Richard Mille RM 011 NTPT Lotus F1 - Monochrome Watches
Earlier this year Formula One driver Romain Grosjean was added to Richard Mille’s stable of top sporters, or official partner’s as they prefer to call them. Grosjean will be wearing, and thus testing, the?new RM 011 Lotus F1 Team-Romain Grosjean?automatic flyback chronograph movement in the colors of the British racing team. During the F1 Grand Prix in Monaco, last weekend, we sat down with TAG Heuer’s CEO, and managed to steal fifteen minutes from actor, race driver and TAG Heuer ambassador Patrick Dempsey. All I really knew about Patrick was his role as Dr Derek Shepherd in the TV series Grey’s Anatomy, and as ‘an actor who loves racing’. Now I also know he’s a great guy with an intense passion for racing and TAG Heuer watches – and for owning a very nice 1972 Heuer Monaco.?Patrick has spent quite a bit of time with the legendary Jack Heuer, learning about the era when Jack was at the helm of Heuer. I’m sure he has a few more stories up his sleeve, but in this short video, Patrick recalls some interesting stories about how Jack managed the sponsorship with some of the race drivers. And best of all, he bought a vintage Monaco from 1972 when he was on his way to race in the WEC and Supercup races at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit, in Belgium.Patrick Dempsey’s
