Introducing: 7 New AP Code 11.59 Models in Pink Gold, With Textured Dials
Audemars Piguet reveals new models that showcase the evolutionary design introduced on the first stainless steel Code 11.59 references in 2023. To update the more subdued and widely criticized design of previous dials, a unique “signature” embossed dial pattern has been specially created for this collection, together with different hands and markers, in collaboration between the AP design team and Swiss guilloche craftsman Yann von Kaenel, which, as we have seen with its introduction, is a tremendous aesthetical improvement.?This appealing design now finds its way into an array of new Audemars Piguet Code 11.59 models in pink gold. The seven new references in this collection are presented in rose gold cases, with PVD-coated or galvanic-treated dials featuring the new stamped pattern with elongated, flattened, faceted, and polished 18k pink gold hour indices. The indices and rose gold hands are enhanced with luminescent material for optimal readability

Hands-On: The Omega Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon Apollo 8
Last Tuesday (of course), Omega presented its latest Speedmaster model, the Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon Apollo 8. As an updated version of an existing model, the watch felt highly familiar at first sight. Presented in 2018 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the mission that first observed the other side of our satellite (and also the first human spaceflight to reach the Moon…), this DSOTM Apollo 8 was characterized by its lunar texture on both sides and its bold black and yellow colour scheme. With the new model, it seems that not much has changed, apart from a seconds hand shaped like Saturn V and an updated movement. But is it really that simple? Let’s dive into the details.?Quick recap New movement – calibre 3869, based on the calibre 3861 with Co-Axial escapement, silicon hairspring and Master Chronometer certification Slightly reshaped case, still at 44.25mm in diameter, but 0.8mm thinner New bezel without SLN but with tachymeter scale in enamel Better-de
SIHH 2015 - Richard Mille RM 19-02 Tourbillon Fleur - hands-on with live photos & specs - Monochrome Watches
Richard Mille have once again astounded the industry - this time with a new ladies watch, the RM 19-02 Tourbillon Fleur. Automaton? Poetic Complication? Call it what you will - it is a stunner.Last year had its fair share of floral themed ladies watches, including Breguet's Secret de la Reine, a particularly eye-pleasing Girard-Perregaux Cat's Eye model complete with an embroidery-like peony motif on its dial and of course, the Christophe Claret Margot watch which proposed to answer the romantic quandary of He loves me. He loves me not.Now Richard Mille have brought a floral design to their ladies collection, with a piece which provides its wearer with a mesmerising mechanical spectacle - but, despite its delicate artisan aesthetics it has still been built using the same cutting-edge materials and technology which characterise every watch which bears the Richard Mille marque and it is therefore as tough as old boots too. While we’ve already introduced the Oris Big Crown Pointer Date in bronze with a 36mm case, there are other novelties regarding the Pointer Date that Oris is introducing at Baselworld 2018. Alongside the bronze edition, Oris will also release some steel versions of the Pointer Date watch, this time in?40mm and 36mm cases, as well as with steel bracelets or leather straps – and again with an unbeatable quality/price ratio. Overview. While the bronze version of the?Oris Big Crown Pointer Date will certainly be one of the main talking pieces for the brand at Baselworld 2018, there are also some more rational steel versions. This watch is based on a limited edition launched mid-2017 – the?Oris Big Crown Pointer Date D.26 286 HB-RAG – which reintroduced one of Oris’ most famous designs, the 1984 Pointer Date watch, which in turn was based on a 1938 design. No more limitations now, the Pointer Date is back in the collection with various options. Below, some of the
