The Seastar collection by Tissot features watches especially made for divers. This piece from the Seastar collection functions with a chronograph movement that ensure the watch works seamlessly. The dial is black with white index markings and the Arabic numeral 12 at the 12' o clock mark. The dial also features three additional subdials. The band of the watch is a black rubber strap perfect for those who love the water.

The IWC Pilot's Watch Chronograph 41 TOP GUN, Now In Mojave Desert Style
Under the moniker of the ‘Colours of TOP GUN‘, IWC is producing boldly coloured editions of its famous (Big) Pilot’s Watch collection, all inspired by nature. For the past couple of years, we’ve seen some fascinating styles emerge. Whether it’s the formidable Big Pilot or lesser gargantuan editions, all share a common theme; ceramics! So far, there’s Lake Tahoe White, Woodland Green, Jet Black, and Oceana Blue, but perhaps the boldest choice is sand beige, which received the name Mojave Desert for quite obvious reasons. Following its 46mm and 44mm siblings, it’s now the Pilot’s Watch Chronograph 41 to embrace the Mojave Desert style. The TOP GUN collection has been around for well over a decade now, as it was presented as a stand-alone collection in 2012 following multiple special series of watches designed for elite fighter pilots. The TOP GUN series has become well-known for its use of high-tech ceramic and ceratanium materials, as well
Introducing the AkriviA Heure Minute Tourbillon Stainless Steel with hand-made dial - Monochrome-Watches
It’s not often that we see a brand coming to the market with their first watch that comprises both a tourbillon and a monopusher chronograph, with a fully hand-finished in-house movement – but it’s exactly what AkriviA did with this watch. Because it’s seems difficult?to develop?an even more complicated watch (especially for a small and young brand), Akrivia is now coming with a simpler watch. Well, simple but still quite a watch, as we’re talking about the?AkriviA Heure Minute Tourbillon.Brief?reminder about Akrivia:“(Akrivia) was founded in 2011 by Rexhep Rexhepi, a young master watchmaker with an interesting educational background which includes an apprenticeship at Patek Philippe at the age of 14, and working as movement developer for BNB Concepts (which went bust in 2010, then was partially bought by Hublot, resulting in the Hublot Cle du Temp).” The first watch to be revealed by AkriviA was an impressive one that we covered last year, aft
Review IWC Big Pilot's Watch TOP GUN Mojave Desert IW506003
During the digital edition of Watches & Wonders 2021, IWC presented two Big Pilot's models in sand-coloured ceramic cases: the Big Pilot's Watch TOP GUN Mojave Desert as well as a more complicated Perpetual Calendar model, which we covered in April. The Mojave Desert sand-coloured ceramic case theme took off in 2019 with a Pilot's Watch Chronograph TOP GUN. Although the TOP GUN family has always favoured black ceramic cases, these two new references mark the first time IWC uses sand-coloured ceramic on a Big Pilot's watch. We spent some hands-on time with the automatic model (Ref. IW506003), and this is what we found.Take my breath awayThe United States Navy Fighter Tactics Instructor program, popularly known as TOP GUN, is where fighter and strike techniques are taught to the Tom Cruises of the real world. As a brand with a genuine link to pilot's watches since 1936 with the release of the “Special Pilot's Watch,” followed in 1940 by the iconic Big Pilot's Watch 52 T.S
Hands-On: The Omega Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon Apollo 8
Last Tuesday (of course), Omega presented its latest Speedmaster model, the Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon Apollo 8. As an updated version of an existing model, the watch felt highly familiar at first sight. Presented in 2018 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the mission that first observed the other side of our satellite (and also the first human spaceflight to reach the Moon…), this DSOTM Apollo 8 was characterized by its lunar texture on both sides and its bold black and yellow colour scheme. With the new model, it seems that not much has changed, apart from a seconds hand shaped like Saturn V and an updated movement. But is it really that simple? Let’s dive into the details.?Quick recap New movement – calibre 3869, based on the calibre 3861 with Co-Axial escapement, silicon hairspring and Master Chronometer certification Slightly reshaped case, still at 44.25mm in diameter, but 0.8mm thinner New bezel without SLN but with tachymeter scale in enamel Better-de
Girard-Perregaux 1966 now also in 41 mm size - Monochrome Watches
Girard-Perregaux have just released an enlarged version of the uber-classic and always elegant 1966. Its case size grew from 38 mm to 41 mm in diameter and it also got a new engine, caliber GP4500, that delivers more power reserve.?Earlier this year Girard-Perregaux already launched the 1966 Chronograph with an increased case size (40 -> 42 mm). While Jaeger-LeCoultre is trimming down the case size of the Master collection, it looks like Girard-Perregaux, also one of the beautiful classic watch brands, is doing the exact opposite. Ad - Scroll to continue with article The new GP1966 comes in either white gold or pink gold and inherited the same looks as its smaller sibling. One thing that caught my attention, is that the date window has moved slightly more to the edge of the dial and the 3 o’clock marker is half the size of the marker at the ?6, 9 and 12
