The men's T-sport V8 Swiss-Matic has a white dial with a round stainless steel case and a glass case back. It also features a black PVD tachymeter bezel along with 72 hours of power reserve. The white dial has a textured design which compliments beautifully with the silver bracelet. The date window has grey lowlights, and the luminescent hands give some color for helpful time reading. We could never imagine gent's watches to be that beautiful, but here this is the one you can buy!

Omegas High-Tech Olympic Timekeeping Instruments at PyeongChang 2018 - Monochrome Watches
Omega deploys an arsenal of sophisticated timekeeping instruments to decide the fate of athletes at the PyeongChang Winter Olympic Games. Carting 230 tonnes of timekeeping equipment from Switzerland to Korea, Omega's cutting-edge technology will be the ultimate judge of the Olympic victors, where split-second differences can make the difference between a gold and a silver medal.Naturally, with a captive crowd of sports fans and Omega branding as omnipresent as the athletes, the Swiss brand has launched a dedicated Seamaster Planet Ocean 600m Pyeongchang Limited Edition decked out in the colours of the South Korean flag, a line of colourful Seamaster watches inspired by the five rings of the Olympic flag, and a more upmarket trilogy of Seamaster models in gold to celebrate the confirmation of Omega's official role as timekeeper of the Games until 2032. Five Things I learned When Visiting Seiko in Japan - Monochrome Watches
To most of us Switzerland is the centre of the world, when it comes to watches. The Swiss Made sub-title seems to be the best way for brands to make their watches more appealing,?however that’s certainly debatable these days. Still, Switzerland is known for precision, fine mechanics and cleanness. Germany is also known for precision, cleanness and fine mechanics, and they also manufacture some very nice watches! Together with the Swiss, the Germans serve to an ever growing clientele who are interested in mechanical wrist watches. And that's when you realise that there's another country, on the other side of our globe, that is known for exactly the same qualifications: cleanness, precision and fine mechanics. I'm talking about Japan. Already in 1881 Kintaro Hattori started making watches, and today the company is led by his great grandson Shinji Hattori. Now that's a proper family business! Recently I had the distinct pleasure of visiting several Seiko manufactures in Japan, and I
Hands-On - Delma Cayman Worldtimer Automatic (Specs & Price)
Although Delma isn't the most familiar brand, it's one we've covered several times on MONOCHROME because of its excellent quality/price ratio. The recent vintage-inspired Continental Chronographs are solid examples, offering well-executed and diverse models for under EUR 3,000. This latest Cayman Worldtimer Automatic follows the simpler Cayman Automatic diver line with an added GMT hand and world cities on the external rotating bezel. Not a true world timer from the likes of Vacheron Constantin or Patek Philippe (with internal rotating 24-hour ring), but it gets the job done for a fraction of the price.BACKGROUNDDelma isn't a relatively new microbrand or the like (if you're unfamiliar with the brand), but an almost century-old, independent Swiss watchmaker that's family owned. It's known for sporty dive watches and chronographs with dress and ladies’ models as well. The new Cayman Worldtimer is a GMT watch with 24 world cities engraved on a rotating bezel, requiring a quick manua
Glashutte Original Sixties and Sixties Panorama Date Annual Edition Fiery Orange (Specs & Price¨¤
Following last year’s beautiful and successful “Annual Edition” of the?vintage-inspired Glashutte Original Sixties and?Sixties Panorama Date, which depicted a superb metallic green dial, the Saxon brand returns in 2019 with a new model. Again, these watches will be produced for just one year – and you can expect to have a new model for 2020. With the exuberant?1960s design codes in mind, the 2019 editions of the?Glashutte Original Sixties and?Sixties Panorama Date are presented with warm, bright and bold?Fiery Orange dials.Basically, no drastic changes here. The recipe used on the 2018 Annual Edition is repeated: a watch based on vintage-inspired Sixties models (with or without the signature Panorama Date), emblematic watches of the GUD-era (back when the brand was controlled by the GDR), a non-limited production (in terms of numbers) which will run for a year only, textured dials and bright, gradient colours. This started in 2018 with a surprising but accomplis
Glashutte-Original Senator Chronometer - Reviewed with Photos, Specs and Price - Monochrome Watches
It was actually because of one specific timepiece, that I got to know about the German high-end watch brand Glashutte Original. That specific watch was the Senator Sixties, which was introduced in 2007. It triggered me because I had just bought an old watch that was the spitting image of exactly that new watch, although mine was not labeled Glashutte-Original, but only Glashutte as ‘brand’ name. Since that time I’ve been watching the brand closely and when they introduced the Senator Chronometer I was (again) very impressed. I had the chance to wear, what I?consider to be the very finest from this high-end German watch brand, the Glashutte-Original Senator Chronometer.Of course, Glashutte-Original makes more complicated, and more eye-catching, timepieces. Take for instance the Senator Tourbillon, or the PanoLunar Tourbillon, that both feature a flying tourbillon. The flying tourbillon was invented by one of the brands’s forefathers, Alfred Helwig. Of course ther
