Grand Seiko 9R Spring Drive has a white dial with a sapphire glass that has been given an anti-reflective coating. It features a stainless steel bracelet that is highly durable as well as very comfortable. The indexes have been designed with stick indexes instead of numbers, making it a little different from other watches. In addition, the diameter is set at 40.5mm which is enough to encapsulate the wrist perfectly. The watch is water and scratch resistant. It also has a 72-hour power reserve.

Hanhart Pioneer Monocontrol - The epitome of Coolness - Full Review (history, live photos, specs & price) - Monochrome-Watches
One of the most enduring traits in the watch industry in recent years is the New-retro design. This principle is the tendency to create something new that is not exactly new but rather follows the past. This industrial/marketing strategy balances in most cases innovation and tradition. The historical heritage of a product is fused with new materials and modern construction in order to create something desirable which possess a different aura, perhaps more refined and romantic. As everything in life, this strategy has its pros and cons while we can often witness companies trying to create a product of this kind out of thin air. In our case we will review a very important military chronograph with unmistakable originality. Almost every watch company today has an offering of a pilot’s chronograph. However, few designs have the pedigree of the one we will review. Hanhart is a company that still produces its iconic flieger chronographs with modern materials and calibres, thus potentia
Buying Guide - The best GMT & travel watches of 2022
Whoever has experienced traversing the globe (by plane, train or automobile) while wearing a mechanical timepiece has at one point run into the drawbacks of regular time-only watches. It can tell the time in one location only, which is useless for identifying the time of day or night of your loved ones back home. Luckily, there are watches that offer a simple and practical solution: travel watches! These come in many variations and offer either a GMT function for a second time zone or a Worldtimer display where you can quickly identify the hour in multiple (and possibly all) time zones on earth. And as the year draws to a close, today’s Buying Guide homes in on some of the best travel watches presented in 2022!Longines Spirit Zulu TimeThe Spirit collection by Longines is home to some of the best watches the Winged Hourglass brand has to offer, and the Spirit Zulu Time reaffirms that very much. It’s quite a chunky watch, admittedly, but a very good-looking one at that! It co
Tissot Heritage Visodate Automatic - Value Proposition Review (Specs & Price)
They say some things were just better back in the day. Classic cars, classic movies, pinball vs. PlayStation Perhaps the same sentiment can apply to watches. It's no secret that vintage-inspired lines are exploding among brands, from Longines' Avigation BigEye to Blancpain's Fifty Fathoms, and the right mix of retro styling with contemporary engineering can become an enthusiast's dream. Tissot has its own Heritage collection that draws on over 165 years of watchmaking. We recently reviewed the Heritage Petite Seconde, a piece inspired by a 1943 Tissot classic, and now shift our attention to the Heritage Visodate Automatic, which harkens back to the 1950s when the brand celebrated its 100th anniversary (and something that was quite innovative back in the days).BACKGROUNDFounded in 1853 in Le Locle, Switzerland, Tissot is a real veteran in the industry. With the first mass-produced pocket watch in the 1850s and first anti-magnetic watch in 1929 (among many firsts), the company is a true
Pre-Baselworld 2019 - Anonimo Nautilo Vintage - More Retro-Styled and Smaller (Specs & Price)
A brand built on the ashes of the Italian branch of Panerai, founded by a naval engineer and former head of the aforementioned watchmaker, is obligated to have a dive watch in the collection. For over 12 years now, the Nautilo has been part of the Anonimo line-up, interpreted in various guises - see here,?here or here. New for 2019 and launched as a preview to Baselworld is a more retro – or vintage-inspired – take on its cool Nautilo, with the Anonimo Nautilo Vintage. And good news for a lot of people: it's smaller! At first glance, there is not much new going on here, other than a change in design. You still get the trademark cushion-shaped case and the crown at 4 to prevent it from digging into your wrist. However, there are some (positive) novelties, such as the reduced diameter, a slightly softer appearance and the vintage or retro inspiration of the watch. Ad - Scroll to continue with article
