Luxury Watches |
A rather uniquely designed masterpiece from Hamilton; this Jazzmaster Automatic White Dial Steel Men's Watch is made with a sturdy black leather strap created from calfskin for a soft touch. In order to add an easy-wearing, a tang buckle is there that opens/closes without putting in any hard efforts. The dial is the distinguished part of this watch as it has a gorges white dial, with two sub-dials that have a black background to produce a perfect match.

Giugiaros Legacy: A Watch And A Car - A Different Perspective On the Reissue Of an Iconic Quartz Chronograph by Seiko - Monochrome Watches
Today we’re going to have a look at two style icons, and one of them is a quartz watch! You know us, we hardly ever focus on timepieces with a quartz regulator, however this is one that shows in a very novel way that there are many possibilities in the design of a wrist watch. In the final months of 2015 Seiko re-issued one of its iconic quartz chronographs that was originally introduced in the early 1980's and became famous in a Hollywood movie. This is a chrono designed by one of the greatest industrial designers of all time, Giorgetto Giugiaro. He was instrumental in creating iconic products and cars. Therefore in this article we will review this new re-issue from Seiko and we will examine its relation with its iconic predecessor; in parallel we will inspect one of Giugiaro's greatest car designs through the eyes of its owner, Mr. Akrivos, a vintage watch collector and an Alfaholic extraordinaire. Some words about Industrial DesignIndustrial design studies function and form¡ªan
Imitation is the Sincerest way to get Sued! - Monochrome Watches
Readers of Monochrome are no doubt familiar with most of the major watch case/bezel/dial combinations that make-up some of the greatest and most expensive timepieces ever. You folks will also (no doubt) be familiar with the scores of companies that have popped-up over the past few years offering the taste' of those deluxe' creations with out all of the calories. The look with out the commitment of capital. Now, however, three HEAVY WEIGHT names in the horological and fashion industries are squaring off to fight over what one side will argue is an icon and what the other side will no doubt say is simply a shape. On August 13, 2013, Audemars Piguet filed suit against Tommy Hilfiger U.S.A. Inc., Tommy Hilfiger Licensing LLC, and Movado Group, Inc. and 10 unnamed individual defendants (I've got a Pound in at William Hills that one of them has a name that rhymes with Hommy Tilfiger!)Again, I rely on the deftness of the readers of Monochrome to affirm that the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak, penn
MB&F x Emmanuel Tarpin Legacy Machine Flying T
Breaking a tradition of masterminding complex, visually arresting watches for men, MB&F undertook its maiden voyage into the galaxy of women’s watches in 2019. Faithful to the brand’s spectacular 3D design language, the Legacy Machine Flying T staged a flying tourbillon rising above the dial plate accompanied by an intriguing hours and minutes dial perched at an angle. Eminently feminine without being affected, the Flying T has had many wardrobe changes but none as glacial as this duet of Ice and Blizzard editions made in collaboration with jewellery designer Emmanuel Tarpin.Emmanuel TarpinBusser has always cultivated an assorted group of ‘friends’ (the ‘F’ in MB&F), collaborators or partners who contribute their expertise to different projects. The latest friend to join the gang is Emmanuel Tarpin, a French jewellery designer from Annecy who studied at the Haute ecole d’Art et de Design (HEAD) in Geneva and spent three years in the Par

The Handsome De Bethune DB27 Titan Hawk JPS
The stylish black & gold John Player Special livery, made famous by the Lotus F1 team in the 1970s, is enjoying a revival with offerings from brands like Hamilton, Bell & Ross and TAG Heuer, all the way up the ladder to niche indie brands like De Bethune. Earlier this year, De Bethune unveiled a JPS version of its sporty DB28GS kitted out in black with gold accents. Paying tribute to the golden age of competitive motorsports in the 1970s, De Bethune revisits its DB27 Titan Hawk in pure JPS livery with a black zirconium high-tech case body and yellow titanium accents. Like the souped-up engines powering F1 cars to the finish line, the DB27 Titan Hawk is equipped with De Bethune’s potent 60-hour AUTOV2 engine. The classic edition of the DB27 Titan HawkReleased in 2012 and refreshed in 2018, the DB27 was positioned as the brand’s most straightforward, sportiest entry-level collection. Nevertheless, as a true DB child, it is incredibly crafted and packed with in-house te
