2021 A. Lange & Sohne Zeitwerk Honeygold Lumen 142.055
If A. Lange & Sohne watches are often playing on classical design cues, there is one sub-collection that certainly has a far more modern and technical vibe, and that is the so-called Lumen range of limited editions. Born in 2010 with the Zeitwerk Luminous (not yet named Lumen back then), the collection has grown to become some of the most sought-after and desirable watches in the brand’s portfolio. Rare and exclusive, these models with sapphire dials are proper treats for collectors. And they’ll be happy to know that a new one is launching today, and it comes back to the roots as based on the architectural watch with jumping indications… But as you’ll see, this new Zeitwerk Honeygold Lumen comes with many new features, starting with an unprecedented movement that packs a lot of power. And, it’s also the first Lumen not to be made out of platinum…The Lumen SeriesBehind the Luminous/Lumen collection, there’s a rather fun story. Anthony de Haa

Interview Jean-Christophe Babin on Geneva Watch Days and LVMH Watch Week
Last year, 2020, the planned dates for Baselworld and Watches & Wonders were pretty late in the year. Usually, the SIHH, predecessor of Watches & Wonders, took place in January and Baselworld was often around March. These proved to be good moments in the year for the watch business, as retailers purchased new watches, new inventory, shortly after the Christmas sales and that kept a healthy dynamic in the luxury ecosystem. However now the two major watch fairs were planned for April/May, that important sales moment in January was missing and Bvlgari Group CEO, Jean-Christophe Babin, wanted to do something about that. Within a short timespan, he created the LVMH Watch Week in Dubai, which took place early 2020, and filled the void of a missing watch fair early that year. And when the pandemic put a halt to last year’s Baselworld, it was again Mr. Babin who initiated a new fair, the Geneva Watch Days, which took place just after the summer. The reason for the LVMH Watch Week

Laurent Lecamp, Montblanc's new Watch Division Director on Building a Brand and Being an Entrepreneur - Monochrome Watches
Today we’re talking to Laurent Lecamp, the new director of Montblanc’s watch division. He takes over from Davide Cerrato, who held this position for the past five years. We’ve had Davide Cerrato in front of our camera several times in these past years, explaining the intricate beauty of Montblanc’s ExoTourbillon and the beauty of hand-finishing at the maison’s ateliers in Villeret. Of course we were curious to hear from Mr Laurent Lecamp what his plans for Montblanc’s watch division are, but also why his name already rings a bell… hint: Indie brand Cyrus. The name Laurent Lecamp may sound familiar, to those who know the independent watch brand Cyrus. That’s at least how I met Laurent, probably some ten years ago at Salon Belles Montres in Paris, when he had just started his adventure in the world of watches. Laurent founded Cyrus together with his cousin, and while the brand might still be a niche player, like most Indie brands, it has bee
