IWC Schaffhausen Portugieser Chronograph Bucherer BLUE IW371492 - Introducing (Specs & Price)
On one side you have IWC and its signature, classic chronograph, the Portugieser 3714. This watch, as we’ve explained in this in-depth review, is a modern icon, practically unchanged since its introduction in the late-1990s. A perfect definition of a classic. On the other side, you have Bucherer, possibly the world’s largest watch retailer, known for its blue-themed special editions – usually very well executed. And when you mix the two, you get the new IWC Schaffhausen Portugieser Chronograph Bucherer BLUE ref. IW371492 – and yes, it is one superb version of this watch. As always with the Bucherer BLUE watches, don’t expect any drastic changes to the base watch. Contemporary and with a clear identity, Norqain is already present at some of the world's leading retailers such as Bucherer, Tourneau, Westime, Govberg or Wempe The brand is now ready to invest on the movement side and teams up with Kenissi.?Ben Kuffer, founder of Norqain WatchesBen Kuffer is connected to his roots and in touch with the times. Proud to be part of a family developing and producing watches for over four decades, he left Breitling in 2018 to create his own brand, Norqain. Hands-On Bell & Ross BR-X1 Black Titanium Chronograph (Specs & Price)
Bell & Ross has been knocking them out of the park lately, with several vintage-inspired watches that really hit the spot, like the new Vintage Collection and some derivatives, such as the Vintage V2-92 & V2-94 Garde-Cotes and the commemorative BR126 Renault Sport 40th Anniversary. Today, however, we're shifting gears and getting hands on with one of the brand's more futuristic-looking models; the BR-X1 Black Titanium Chronograph, a softer and more “monochrome” version of the bold?chronograph we already tested here.Part of the French brand's extensive Instrument collection, the BR-X1 series made its debut three years ago with the intention of bringing the fight to the likes of the Hublot King Power and the Audermars Piguet Royal Oak. Given the series now boasts 17 different models – including the exceptional BR-X1 Chronograph Tourbillon Monopusher – I think it's safe to assume that it has performed this mission quite well. it is bold, it is very technica
Buying Guide - 6 recently revived brands and watches
One of the most popular categories of watches in recent years is the revival watch. Bringing back a historic model and paying tribute in a very faithful manner can result in truly cool watches. Aquastar was initially relaunched with the Deepstar Chronograph, a chunky diving watch of
