The Longines L37024966 is from the Conquest collection of men's watches. The watch has a blue dial that incorporates stick type indexes in silver and minute hands made in silver as well. It has 3 sub-dials that are added for convenience and a date window that opens at the 4 o'clock position. The design also incorporates a stainless steel case and bracelet to give a sporty look to it. The caliber and reserve both are promising.

First Look: The Longines Heritage Conquest Central Power Reserve
While it might not come across as a particularly high-brow mechanical complication, the power reserve indicator is extremely useful. The equivalent of a petrol gauge on a watch, a power reserve indicator lets you know how much tension is left in the mainspring or, in simple terms, how much fuel is left in the tank. One of the most unusual takes on this complication belongs to a 1959 Conquest model made by Longines. In a departure from more conventional and unobtrusive power reserve displays, Longines’ novel power reserve gauge was represented on two rotating discs smack in the centre of the dial. Capturing the elegant vintage 1950s dress watch look of the original and coinciding with the 70th anniversary of the Conquest collection, Longines releases a re-edition of its historical Central Power Reserve model. Available with grey, black or champagne-coloured dials, the handsome Heritage Conquest Central Power Reserve flaunts the fascinating dial-side indicator that lets you track t
Patek Philippe Ref.5270/1R Gets the Midas Touch - Monochrome Watches
The combination of a chronograph and a perpetual calendar is the epitome of what Patek Philippe does best. This year we were regaled with not one but two 5270 references, one in platinum with a much-praised salmon-coloured dial and this rose gold model with an ebony dial. Dripping in 18k rose gold from head to toe, Patek's Ref. 5270/1R is as different from its platinum brother as chalk and cheese. With the same sophisticated in-house manual-winding movement as its sibling, the 5270/1R comes with a sumptuous rose gold bracelet with the QP correctors artfully hidden in the links. The King of ComplicationsThe Perpetual Calendar Chronograph is considered by many as the pinnacle of Patek Philippe's watchmaking prowess and its first chapter was written in 1941 with the launch of legendary Ref. 1518. The first serially produced perpetual calendar with chronograph, Ref. 1518 was decades ahead of other brands. A holier than holy grail piece, the $11 million paid for a stainless steel 1518 model
The New Ulysse Nardin Marine Torpilleur Dual Time
First presented in 2017, the Marine Torpilleur collection has been entirely refreshed last year, with new and refined models that pay tribute to the rich history of the brand in the field of Marine Chronometers. The Marine Torpilleur picks up on vintage design cues but comes in a lighter, younger and more versatile package like the fast, manoeuvrable torpedo boats that inspired its name. Elegant, discreet and highly distinctive, there’s a lot to love in these watches, mechanically and visually. For the 2022 collection, Ulysse Nardin expands its Marine Torpilleur collection with three new models, all part of the permanent collection, including the brand new Dual Time watch.?The Ulysse Nardin Marine TorpilleurFounded in 1846 in Le Locle by Ulysse Nardin, the young clockmaker consolidated his reputation with precision marine chronometers. By the 1870s, the manufacture supplied more than 50 navies and merchant marine companies with precision marine deck chronometers. This specific ye
TAG Heuer Carrera Caliber 5 Ring Master Muhammad Ali - Hands-On
I hated every minute of training, but I said: Don't quit. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion. Could this be the silver-tongued boxing champion's own version of Don't crack under pressure? Muhammad Ali was not just one of the greatest heavyweight boxers of all time, he was also a vocal civil right activist with a legendary never-back-down attitude. Inspired by the brand's 1950s Ring-Master watch - a stopwatch featuring interchangeable rings for timing different sports including boxing - we take a hands on look at the TAG Heuer Carrera Caliber 5 Ring Master Muhammad Ali.Meet the latest addition to the Carrera collection; a tribute watch that stands out for its distinctive look and unique boxing match timer function. The model draws its inspiration
Pre-Baselworld 2018 - Chronoswiss Flying Regulator Open Gear (Specs & Price)
With certain brands, it is sometimes hard to define the DNA, the essence of their creations or what is the common theme linking the collections. With?Chronoswiss on the other hand, this is rather easy. Indeed, the brand has a clear segmentation, as most of its watches are based on a regulator display. The latest model in the collection doesn’t?derogate from the general rule. Please meet the?Chronoswiss Flying Regulator Open Gear, a modern take on the brand’s codes. The regulator watch is closely linked to the history of?Chronoswiss, which is celebrating its 35th anniversary this year. Indeed, the regulator was the first stand-alone model in the history of Chronoswiss and in subsequent years, it quickly became the brand ?s central theme. This model is even celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. Thus, no surprises that the team behind the brand wanted this original display to be at centre stage in their latest creation, as a preview for Baselworld 2018. Ad - Sc
