Such a graceful pick; this watch is made with a stainless steel material and a closed back. The bracelet is made of distinguished black synthetic nylon to make the watch comfortable to wear. The bezel has a bi-directional rotary motion. Further, a black dial with Arabic markings along with glowing hour markers is also included. The beautiful dial is protected with a sapphire crystal glass that also gives the watch its scratch resistant property.

Buying Guide: The Very Best Artistic Dials We've Seen This Year
They say the face of a watch can be regarded as a canvas. A canvas to display time first and foremost, but in some watches, it is also a backdrop for a discerning and mesmerising complication like a tourbillon or a perpetual calendar indication. But what if you would take the dial as a canvas more literally? What if you actually use it as a blank canvas to produce a work of art? Well, magic can happen if you do, showcased by these spectacularly creative watches. And where some go for miniature painting, others take a less conventional approach!Bulgari octo Finissimo Automatic Laurent GrassoPartnering with French artist Laurent Grasso, Bulgari has given a creative spin to its mighty Octo Finissimo. The blue PVD-coated titanium case is fitted with a blue PVD-coated dial finished with an evanescent blue, white and pink cloud created by Grasso. The dreamy, iridescent image captures Grasso’s fascination with electromagnetic energy and paranormal phenomena and is said to question the f
First Look: The New Longines Legend Diver 39mm No-Date
Whenever a watchmaking brand has an icon in the books, it tends to protect it with great care and introduce new colours and small technical updates to keep things fresh. Such is the case with the, dare we say it, legendary Longines Legend Diver. A watch modelled after an important diver from the late 1950s, and now a true cornerstone model in the brand’s portfolio. And we’re quite happy with the way Longines has taken a more creative route in recent years, playing around with gradient dials and different materials. One thing was very much missing, though, which finally sees the light of day: a slightly more compact version, filling the gap between the rather large 42mm version and the feminine 36mm models. The Longines Legend Diver, regardless if we’re talking about the time-and-date or, more importantly, the no-date version, has always been a fairly large watch on the wrist. Not anymore, as we can finally share with you the brand new, largely revised Longines Legend
Habring2 comes with Doppel 3.0 in 2013 - Monochrome Watches
When Habring2 introduced the Doppel 2.0 they could not have imagined the immense success they had with this model. It sold out in a blink of an eye and on top of that?they?won the Sports Watch Prize at the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Geneve 2012. 20 Years ago Richard Habring was responsible for developing the doppelchrono for IWC and now it is patent-free, wife and?business partner?Maria and he released an improved rattrapante or split-seconds mechanism in the Doppel 2.0. Because the limited edition of 20 pieces sold out (way too fast), Habring2 will come with a Doppel 3.0 next year.I just wished I had jumped to the occassion when the limited Doppel 2.0 was released, however I was too late. So the news of the Doppel 3.0 sounds good to me and I’m?looking forward to getting some hands-on time with it! Ad - Scroll to continue with article The successor o
Introducing: The Mido Multifort 8 Two Crowns, a Slim, Integrated-Style Sports Watch
For many years, Mido has been one of the discreet, accessible brands of the Swatch Group, releasing very decent watches but possibly lacking some wow effect. Things changed recently, as the brand seems to have found its own pace. Think, for instance, about the cool Decompression Timer 1961, the Multifort TV Big Date as an accessible take on the sporty-chic steel watch, or the compact, slim and attractive Ocean Star 39. Today, the brand is at it again, unveiling the Multifort 8 Two Crowns, a watch that plays on the classic codes of the integrated-style sports watch with shaped bezel, but in a compact, slim case with compelling specs.?Mido is a venerable Swiss brand born in 1918, which made a name for itself in the 1930s with its Multifort design, the first Mido to use a self-winding movement, but also a watch with superior shock-resistance, anti-magnetism and water-resistance. In recent years, the brand was probably underestimated and its potential was overlooked. But things changed in
Interview: Thierry Stern, President of Patek Philippe, On The Tokyo Grand Exhibition

Some 60,000 visitors attended what's surely a success for the brand, which was accompanied by the launch of several limited editions, including two technical timepieces making their global debut. An important part of the communication strategy of the brand, these exhibitions allow collectors and simple watch enthusiasts to immerse themselves into the exclusive world of Patek. We're talking with Mr Thierry Stern, President of Patek Philippe, about the importance and purposes of these Grand Exhibitions. After Dubai in 2012, Munich in 2013, London in 2015, New York in 2017 and Singapore in 2019, Patek Philippe chose Tokyo for the sixth of its grand exhibitions across the world. Historically an important market for watchmaking, gathering some of the most discerning collectors around the globe, Japan was a suitable place for this 20
