This particular model from the collection comes with a look of sophistication and class that further adds charisma to the timepiece. The striking blue dial features intricate yet contrasting hour markers that serve to provide added legibility, along with a date aperture at the three-hour mark that adds convenience to the overall design.

Introducing The New Platinum A. Lange & Sohne Lange 1 Time Zone
Marking the resurrection of A. Lange & Sohne in 1994, the Lange 1 is the most eloquent ambassador of the German brand and considered a true Saxon watchmaking icon. With its asymmetric dial and outsize date, the Lange 1 is just shy of its 30th birthday and has, as you can appreciate in Brice’s extensive guide to this family, been interpreted with numerous complications and materials but always faithful to its distinctive, unwavering design. The Lange 1 Time Zone debuted in 2005 and was revisited in 2020 with a new manufacture movement designed to increase the watch’s functionality. The latest Lange 1 Time Zone lands in a luxurious platinum case with a solid silver rhodium-coloured dial. Something that collectors would easily name a “stealth” edition of this high-end traveller’s watch.Ideal for travelling across time zones, GMT watches allow you to consult home and local time at a glance. Many GMT models rely on an additional central hour hand pointing t

Event Report - Behind The Scenes With Tissot at The Tour de France
Pain, passion, glory The Tour de France is widely considered the most prestigious and most difficult cycling race. 3,350 kilometres are being raced in 2022, split up over 21 days of racing. Every detail counts in this challenging competition between 176 riders, and, against time. Cycling fans all remember the 1989 Greg LeMond victory over Laurent Fignon, by just 8 seconds, the smallest ever in the history of the Tour de France: timekeeping is essential to the dream of racing cyclists. Tissot has been involved in a range of cycling events for over 50 years and, as the official timekeeper of the Tour de France, the brand plays an essential role in the captivating narrative that unfolds every summer. We were lucky enough to be invited for a formidable weekend in Lausanne, to go behind-the-scenes of timekeeping at the Tour de France 2022.Yours truly participating (above) – below: inside Le Tour, a unique opportunity to ride the last 50 kilometres of Tour de France 2022 Stage 8, with
Value Proposition - Batavi Architect Sports Watch on Kickstarter
Dutch microbrand Batavi is a relative newcomer with a couple of watches under its belt. We looked at the colourful Kosmopoliet GMT a year ago and were impressed with the vintage diver aesthetic and accessible price. That model followed another diver, Batavi's inaugural Noordzee, but the brand's latest watch takes a different, perhaps more sophisticated approach – or let's say more in the current mood. The diver design makes way for a slick sports watch with an integrated bracelet and multiple dial materials, and at a price point rarely seen in the space. We've seen a small handful of brands release comparable sports watches recently, but Batavi's Architect might be the most intriguing.?The closest thing I can think of to this is Tissot's upcoming PRX Powermatic 80, although it comes in at almost twice the price (from an early bird Kickstarter perspective, but it's made by an established brand). The Batavi features a classic tonneau-shaped case and textured dial, and I find what t
introducing: A Trio Of Evocative H Moser & Cie X Bucherer Watches
In the world of luxury watch retailers, Bucherer holds a rather special place. Not only has it been announced that has acquired the well-established watch retailer (the biggest in the world), but it also has a long history of collaborative watches. Always revolving around some kind of blue, these Bucherer limited editions can range from relatively affordable to astronomically expensive. As they share a common theme, though, the result is, more often than not, rather striking. The latest special edition pieces to be released see Bucherer return to the creativity of H. Moser & Cie?for a trilogy of watches based on the Pioneer and Endeavour Concept watches.Pioneer Tourbillon Concept AventurineThe first of the three is perhaps the most sporty of the bunch, although I wouldn’t go on a wild adventure with it. The Pioneer Tourbillon Concept Aventurine is based on a watch we’ve seen earlier this year. The rose gold and black DLC-finished titanium case holds a midnight-blue av
