The L29094926 is a stunning variation from Longines's Master collection. It has a beautiful blue dial that is marked with silver-toned index markers. The hands of the watch are also silver. This combination of silver and blue provides an element of elegance to the watch. At the 6 o'clock mark, the watch has a subdial for the date and the moon phase. The watch is mainly made from silver-toned stainless steel which complements the details on the dial.

First Look: The Chopard L.U.C XP Urushi Year of the Dragon
Chinese New Year 2024 will fall on Saturday, the 10th of February, heralding the Year of the Dragon. The dragon holds a special place in Chinese culture, representing power, strength, and good fortune, and brands have started to announce their dragon-themed watches. Among these, Chopard had just unveiled the latest addition to its Chinese Zodiac collection – an L.U.C XP featuring a dial adorned with a captivating dragon motif meticulously crafted in Urushi lacquer. The superb dial of this limited-edition watch is handcrafted in Japan by Minori Koizumi, a craftsman specialising in the delicate Maki-e technique. Each dial requires no fewer than 20 hours of meticulous work. Rendered in exquisite detail, the dragon gracefully adorns the dial. Several layers of Urushi lacquer are applied and decorated with paint, gold flakes and mother-of-pearl inlays. Ad - Scroll to continue with article
Found - A Rare Habring2 Monopusher Chronograph Japan Edition
If you’re a recurring reader of MONOCHROME, you should very well be aware that we, as a team, have a thing for chronographs, and specifically, vintage-inspired chronographs manufactured by?husband-and-wife duo Richard and Maria Habring. After all, this was the inspiration behind our very first Montre de Souscription, a sector dial monopusher with salmon colour… And since we’re definitely biased, there’s another watch that always resonates very loud at the redaction room, a rare and absolutely stunning model made exclusively for Habring2 long-term Japan retailer Shellman, the Monopusher with Breguet numerals and snail-shaped scales. We’ve already featured a black example on MONO and today, it’s a silver edition that makes it to the magazine. To us, typically a watch you should look at closely, and maybe add to your collection.?Habring2 is the kind of brand/watchmaker we love at MONOCHROME. Based in the small town of Volkermarkt, Austria (already somet

Rado has long been associated with ceramic watches, even before it became a staple material for bezel inserts for instance. The brand pioneered the use of highly scratch-resistant material more than 30 years ago, but Rado's dedication to the craft goes back even further than that. Labelling itself as The Master of Materials, we recently had the chance to go in-depth at one of Rado's production facilities and discover just what goes into producing high-tech ceramic watches. And honestly, it was nothing like we expected. Ad - Scroll to continue with article There are basically two sides to this story, yet both are intertwined in the watches produced by Rado. On one hand, we have Rado's history in making highly scratch-resistant watches with an eye for groundbreaking design and technology and on the other a story of ComaDur, the supplier of the ceramic components t

Regarded as the longest (60,000 km) and toughest round-the-world team sailing challenge since 1973, the 14th edition of The Ocean Race kicked off in Alicante, Spain, in January 2023. Docking in nine cities around the globe over six months and finishing in Genoa in June, the teams have embarked on their fifth leg from Newport, Rhode Island, to Aarhus, Denmark. Taking advantage of the pit stop in Rhode Island and celebrating The Ocean Race’s 50th anniversary, Ulysse Nardin unveiled a 100-piece edition of its Ocean Race Diver Chronograph. The Ocean RaceOrigi
