Chopard L.U.C Flying T Twin - Monochrome Watches
Countdown mode for Baselworld 2019 has commenced and Chopard presents its first flying tourbillon combined with an automatic movement on board the elegant rose gold L.U.C. Flying T Twin. The ultra-thin case is made from Fairmined gold and houses an even thinner automatic movement based on Chopard's very first manufacture movement. Decorated with a sophisticated hand-guilloche dial, the watch is chronometer-certified and bears the Poin?on de Geneve seal of quality. Collectors be warned, this is a limited edition of just 50 pieces.Ultra-thin Fairmined Gold CaseFor many gentlemen, the case of the L.U.C Flying T Twin flaunts perfect proportions. Crafted from 18k rose gold, the case measures 40mm in diameter and has an ultra-thin profile of just 7.2mm.? That is actually 0.4mm thinner than the pre-Baselworld 2019 L.U.C XPS Twist watch we reviewed recently, and exactly the same height as the L.U.C XPS 1860, but with a flying tourbillon to boot. Weekly Watch Photo - Bell & Ross wrist shots - Monochrome Watches
One of the type of watch photos that I really like, are the so-called wrist-shots. Photos of a watch on the wrist, in its natural habitat so to speak. Simon C is community manager of Bell & Ross and he frequently posts wrist-shots on his Facebook page.So I figured, let’s share Simon’s wrist-shots to give you an example of what’s possible. Simon C posts his photos here on Facebook, however there are more source to find wrist-shots, like Wristshot Facebook Group and following Twitter with hashtag #womw (meaning what’s on my wrist… or watch on my wrist). And the Friday Roll Call post, that I already used as source earlier like this magnificent Omega Seamaster PloProf. So now enjoy Simon’s wrist shots showing several Bell & Ross watches…. A big thanks to Simon C for letting me use his photos! Ad - Scroll to continue with article
Oris Big Crown Pointer Date Calibre 403 (Specs & Price)
The fifth edition of Dubai Watch Week kicks off with over 45 participating watch brands eager to unveil their novelties. Oris, the Swiss brand from Holstein, presents a new chapter in the life of its iconic Big Crown Pointer Date. A fundamental piece in the brand's history since 1938, the Big Crown Pointer Date is now powered by calibre 403, the new, in-house developed automatic movement with impressive resilience to magnetism, a solid five-day power reserve and a ten-year warranty.Introduced in 1938, the Big Crown Pointer Date was conceived as a pilot's watch and featured an oversized crown to help pilots adjust the time without having to take off their gloves. Another signature trait was the original date complication that used a central pointer hand. In constant production for over 80 years, the Big Crown Pointer Date was upgraded in June this year and equipped with the new automatic calibre 403. Based on the groundbreaking 2020 calibre 400 series, described by Rolf Studer, Oris's C
Introducing the Redesigned Oris Aquis Date 2017 Collection (specs & price)
Since its introduction, the Oris Aquis has always been the high-performance dive watch of the brand. Sturdy, robust, strong and powerful, this watch is?all about performance and reliability. So to say, a real tool watch, which earned the status of icon in the Oris collection. Even if it remained modern, Oris has decided to bring a new take on the?Aquis Date Collection, with subtle evolutions of most components, in order to bring modernity and extra-refinement to a still very toolish and professional-oriented watch. Here is the updated Oris Aquis Date Collection for 2017, more refined, still powerful. The story of the sturdy and performance-oriented dive watch from Oris goes back to the late 1990s, with the Oris Full Steel. While the Divers Sixty Five plays on vintage-inspired themes, the modern version of the Full Steel, the Aquis, is all devoted to reliability and professional use. This watch is a solid, robust, masculine watch made to be used underwater, with no compromise. The previo
TAG Heuer Monaco Purple Dial Limited Edition (Specs, Price)
TAG Heuer's Monaco series needs no introduction. Among the brand's most iconic collections, it was born in 1969 and given a legendary marketing boost in 1971 when Steve McQueen wore one in the movie, Le Mans. A younger generation probably recognises it from the series Breaking Bad, where Walter White received a Monaco Calibre 12 (ref. CAW2111. FC6183) that was similar to McQueen's original. The latest variant carries an in-house automatic chronograph and eye-catching gradient dial with a new, vibrant colour marking a first for the series.?Meet the TAG Heuer Monaco Purple Dial. The new model is generally the same as recent releases, such as the Monaco Green Dial Calibre Heuer 02 Limited Edition, which introduced a gradient green dial and is among the newest generations to use the Calibre Heuer 02 (first seen in 2019 with the Monaco Heuer 02). Therefore, the square stainless steel case has the same dimensions of 39mm x 39mm (approx. 15mm height) with brushed and polished surfaces. A styli
