Here we have the TAG Heuer CBK2110.BA0715 Carrera Calibre 16. For some, at first glance, it might feel a lot is happening in this wristwatch. However, on closer inspection, you can tell this model is another fantastic addition to the Carrera watch line from 1963, which was initially designed for professional drivers as the first chronograph. This model continues to keep the exciting look of the original inspiration and offers a stunning black display against a polished steel build. It features Sapphire with anti-reflective treatment on both sides.

Introducing the MB&F HMX for the 10th anniversary of the brand (Specs & price) - Monochrome-Watches
It’s 10 years already that MB&F – meaning Max Busser and his friends – have been creating incredible horological machines. We say machines and not watches, simply because what they have done is far from traditional watchmaking. MB&F in only 10 short years have become one of the main and most active independent watchmakers, MB&F never cease to surprises us with their bold, unusual and unique timepieces. 10 years that has to be celebrated - but not with what people expect from them. Instead of introducing the most complicated / expensive commemorative watch possible, MB&F intends to say thank you' to collectors by revealing?the cheapest horological machine ever, the?MB&F HMX.10 years of MB&F – a brief retrospectiveBefore founding MB&F, Max Busser was already an influent man in the watchmaking industry, as he was?managing director at Harry Winston. He created the concept of the Opus series, watches that were resulting from partnership wi
Introducing the Breitling Navitimer 01 in 46mm - Monochrome Watches
The Navitimer is Breitling’s most emblematic watch. Presented in 1952 with?the reference 806 as the ultimate pilot chronograph, equipped with a very useful slide rule, it was endorsed as the official timekeeping instrument of the?AOPA – the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association. At that time, with its 42mm, it was already huge, especially when you consider that most watches were sized at 35mm. For years now, the Navitimer has shared the same spirit and design, with the same slide rule and its 3-sub-counter panda dial (black dial with white sub-dials). But the 43mm of the actual models are quite average now and an?update was needed, just to keep the?spirit of the original?one: a massive 46mm or 48mm tool-watch to wear over?your?flight jacket.Navitimer 806 – Photo by WatchFredThe Navitimer is one of the few watches that can really claim to be iconic. It even boasts a surprising link between an astronaut (Scott Carpenter), a French singer (Serge Gainsbourg), an American
In-Depth: Deciphering The Superb F.P. Journe Astronomic Souveraine
The F.P. Journe Astronomic Souveraine is a complicated watch initially unveiled in 2019 as the Astronomic Blue, a one-of-a-kind (prototype) watch created for the biannual Only Watch auction fundraiser supporting muscular dystrophy research. This remarkable timepiece crafted in tantalum with a striking blue dial fetched a staggering CHF 1.8 million. Later that year, F.P. Journe announced limited quantities of a steel-cased production model, which closely resembled the Only Watch version, albeit with some differences in dial colours, design, and movement decoration. Let us share our recent encounter with this extraordinary horological creation. The Astronomic Souveraine is a true grand complication, boasting an array of 18 functions and complications. Among its impressive features are a minute repeater, moon phase display, sidereal time indication, day and night indicator, sunrise and sunset indications, power reserve indicator, annual calendar, and equation of time. All of these complex
IWC Pilot's Watch Chronograph IW377724 With New Dial (Specs & Price)
In 2017, IWC took us by surprise when presenting the desirable, vintage-inspired and definitely cool?Pilot's Watch Mark XVIII Edition Tribute to Mark XI. Now, it’s time for the Schaffhausen-based brand to focus on the chronograph version of this watch and to apply the same recipe: baton hands, faux-patine markers, cleaner dial and fabric strap. And if the 3-hander was mimicking the Mark XI, the new?IWC Pilot’s Watch Chronograph IW377724 is reminiscent of one of the coolest 1990s watches, the?Fliegerchronograph ref. 3706.The?Fliegerchronograph 3705 and 3706 are important watches in IWC’s history, as they marked the comeback of the brand in the field of mechanical pilot watches. Over 20 years ago, these 39mm watches, with Valjoux-based chonograph movements were a sort of renaissance of the proper tool watch and for this reason, they are some of the coolest “young-timers” we can think of. And guess what? IWC has decided to create a watch that looks like these
Buying Guide - A selection of diving chronographs
A diving watch is generally considered to be very robust, has some form of rotating inner or outer bezel, is water-resistant to at least 200 meters and provides excellent legibility. But what if you’re looking for a bit more than just the time and possibly the date? What if you want to time the boiling of an egg, or maybe go a bit nuts, and time your underwater adventure from start to finish? Well, you’re in luck today as we take a closer look at some of last year’s newly presented diving chronographs! And we go from affordable to expensive and from stainless steel to titanium and bronze. Let’s dive straight in!Glashutte Original SeaQ ChronographThe SeaQ was Glashutte Original’s first crack at a modernly constructed dive watch, modelled after the Spezimatic RP TS 200 from 1969 (back then, GO was known as Glashutter Uhrenbetried GmbH or GUB). Despite the modern build, the SeaQ range has a rather tasty vintage look to it, unsurprising considering its inspira
