The A. Lange & Sohne Lange 1 Perpetual Calendar (Price)
A Lange & Sohne writes a new chapter in the fascinating life of its iconic Lange 1 with the release of the Lange 1 Perpetual Calendar. Although many of you will recall the Lange 1 Tourbillon Perpetual Calendar, this model is devoted entirely to the perpetual calendar. Fitted with a Lange's 67th manufacture calibre with automatic winding, the Lange 1 Perpetual Calendar makes its debut in pink gold with a grey solid silver dial and in a limited edition white gold model with a solid pink gold dial.BackgroundLange's first perpetual calendar appeared in 2001 on the Langematik Perpetual, the first model to combine a perpetual calendar with an outsize date. Introducing The Green/Black AP Royal Oak Offshore Tourbillon Chrono
The Beast, the Royal Oak Offshore, officially turns 30 this year, and as if the relatives were scarce to fill the room for celebration, Audemars Piguet brings another specimen into the family, a cool-coloured Selfwinding Flying Tourbillon Chronograph presented in a black ceramic case with green anodized elements. Jokes aside, this new watch is a fine addition to the new generation of the Royal Oak Offshore collection, much like the original version launched in 2021, but with an even more futuristic look. The new AP ROO Flying Tourbillon Chronograph version is everything the inaugural reference was. Still, the choice of material for the 43mm case and green hues to colour elements on the dial side make all the difference. This year, for the first time in the 43mm ROO collection, the watch features a full ceramic case with a ceramic caseback. Multiple finishing techniques are used to bring out the best of the case design, with updated, enlarged polished bevels on the edges. AP mastered cer

Hands-On Rado Captain Cook High-Tech Ceramic Limited Edition
Fusing two of the brand’s fortes - a popular vintage dive watch design and innovative high-tech ceramic - Rado has come up with a winner. The latest edition of the Captain Cook flaunts a sleek matte black ceramic case, and for the first time, even the bezel and crown are crafted in ceramic. The watch is also equipped with a new movement with an airy openworked design that can be seen from the dial, complete with a new golden train bridge. Limited to 1,962 pieces in honour of the year the Captain Cook made its maiden voyage, this ‘noir’ take of the diver is a contemporary, stylish proposal.Material MattersFounded by the Schlup brothers and known initially as Schlup & Co, the company started as a movement manufacturer based in Lengnau, Switzerland, to become one of the largest producers of watch movements by the mid-1940s.
