Another masterpiece from Hublot, this watch from the Spirit of Big Bang collection is capable of catching every heart. This timepiece is equipped with a white ceramic case that is covered by a sapphire crystal to avoid any scratch. The look is completed with black rubber and white alligator leather strap. You can't ignore the sapphire crystal adorned with index hour markers and a date display between 4 and 5 o'clock positions. It also has a self-winding movement to ensure maximum precision.

Hands-On - Chopard Alpine Eagle 33 Automatic (Specs & Price)
Fast on the heels of the Alpine Eagle Pine Green model, Chopard is also releasing six references in a new 33mm case size. When the Alpine Eagle luxury sports watch collection was introduced in 2019, the first time-and-date models were offered in 41mm and 36mm case sizes, moving up to 44mm cases for the chronograph models The new, smaller case size is evidently targeting women and comes in ethical rose gold or Lucent Steel – and combinations of both materials- with or without diamonds on the bezel. Like all members of the Alpine Eagle family, the watch and the chronometer-certified movement are developed and manufactured in-house. And perhaps the best news of all, the date window featured on larger 41mm non-jewellery models has been suppressed.Downsizing a watch while retaining its personality might seem to be an easy task, but it requires a comprehensive study of proportions and balance to ensure the genetic traits of the collection don’t get lost. Although there have alway
Its Konstantin Chaykins 10th Anniversary In the Business! And He Wants To Bestow Good Luck On You! (No, this is not a chain-mail hoax) - Monochrome Watches
The Russian Magician is turning 10! (Not really - he's young - but he's not that young!) October 23, 2013 marks 10 years to the day Konstanin Chaykin began work on his first clock. Now, one lucky winner can receive a personal gift from Konstantin Chaykin: a lucky horseshoe! Konstantin Chaykin is a very, very humble person. He would NEVER boast about his skill or creativity. He's also not the type of person to make a big fuss about celebrating 10 years in the industry. So I will do it for him!He has stunned the watch world with creating after creation – from the Lunokhod, to the Quartime, to 2012's Levitas each new watch has been more intricate than the last. His two latest creations have been fighting for the spot-light: The Muybridge Cinema watch stunned the watch world and seemed to grab all the attention at his booth at Baselworld! Now it's time for the Levitas Jazz to shine! Ad - Scroll to continue with article
Introducing the AkriviA Heure Minute Tourbillon Stainless Steel with hand-made dial - Monochrome-Watches
It’s not often that we see a brand coming to the market with their first watch that comprises both a tourbillon and a monopusher chronograph, with a fully hand-finished in-house movement – but it’s exactly what AkriviA did with this watch. Because it’s seems difficult?to develop?an even more complicated watch (especially for a small and young brand), Akrivia is now coming with a simpler watch. Well, simple but still quite a watch, as we’re talking about the?AkriviA Heure Minute Tourbillon.Brief?reminder about Akrivia:“(Akrivia) was founded in 2011 by Rexhep Rexhepi, a young master watchmaker with an interesting educational background which includes an apprenticeship at Patek Philippe at the age of 14, and working as movement developer for BNB Concepts (which went bust in 2010, then was partially bought by Hublot, resulting in the Hublot Cle du Temp).” The first watch to be revealed by AkriviA was an impressive one that we covered last year, aft
Longines Column-Wheel Single Push-Piece Chronograph 180th Anniversary REVIEWED - Monochrome Watches
Over the past years Longines has released quite a few historically inspired timepieces like the Lindbergh Hour Angle Watch and the Weems Second-Setting Watch, which both featured in our History of the Pilot’s Watch part IV. But Longines didn’t stop there. They do have a very rich and long history, meaning many important timepieces from the past that easily qualify for a re-issue. Today we’re gonna have a look at the Longines Column-Wheel Single Push-Piece Chronograph that was released in celebration of the 180th anniversary of the brand.Today Longines is not only known for their rich history, but also for the ‘affordable luxury’ they create. I cannot think of another brand that has so much, including in-house movements, and prices them in the range from roughly € 1.000 Euro to 6 or 7k Euro for a full gold timepiece with an in-house column wheel chronograph. If that isn’t impressive! For this review Longines lend us a very special piece that was intro
Patek Philippe Nautilus Perpetual Calendar 5740G (Specs & Price)
When Baselworld 2018 opened its?doors, this new watch came as a surprise. We could have expected this grand complication to coincide with the 40th anniversary of this iconic model – which took place two years ago, with the presentation of the?Platinum 3-hand 5711/1P and the White Gold Chronograph 5976/1G. Instead, Patek decided to wait two more years to introduce the first grand complication in the Nautilus collection. After the chronograph, the annual calendar or the travel time, here is the?Patek Philippe Nautilus Perpetual Calendar 5740G.Background – The addition of complications to the NautilusIn our books, here at MONOCHROME, the true essence of the Nautilus is a time-only watch, with a predominant focus on the style, the design, and its unique combination of refined luxury and sportiness. The Nautilus was born with two hands and a date (with the Ref. 3700, designed in 1976 by the late Gerald Genta) and still, the most coveted model in the collection is its direct desc
