Bulgari makes headlines again, this time with “the world's thinnest automatic movement“. After presenting the thinnest Tourbillon watch and movement (Baselworld 2014) and thinnest minute repeater (Baselworld 2016), we hoped Bulgari would set its sights on breaking yet another record. Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris Mariner Memovox & Polaris Mariner Date - News
The Polaris collection, Jaeger-LeCoultre's take on the sporty-elegant watch, welcomes two new references, the Polaris Mariner Memovox and Polaris Mariner Date. Based on the 2018 watches and designed to sit alongside but not replace these earlier models, the latest Polaris references come with a host of upgrades that consolidate their mission as genuine dive watches compliant with ISO 6425 specifications. Pre-SIHH 2014: Introducing the Montblanc TimeWalker Extreme Chronograph DLC - Monochrome Watches
Ten years ago, in 2004, Montblanc introduced the very first timepieces of the new TimeWalker ‘family’ of watches. Immediately recognizable, with its 43mm large case, the beautifully shaped lugs, its thin bezel and the and large and clean dial, the characteristic Arabic numerals and the lancet-shaped hands. Montblanc celebrates the 10th anniversary with a pitch-black new member of TimeWalker family, the TimeWalker Extreme Chronograph DLC.What might seem like the “black sheep” of the family is actually a very well respected family member, as it features all of the above design and style elements of the TimeWalker collection. The TimeWalker Extreme Chrono DLC adds to that a the blackest DLC coating possible, named “Black 4”, and a super strong strap from Montblanc’s own leather department. The strapThe strap’s inside is made of black Vulcarbone? cautchouc (some sort of treated rubber), which gives the wristband extreme strength and flexibilit
Arnold and Son Constant Force Tourbillon - Review with technical explanations (live photos, specs & price) - Monochrome Watches
What you’ll see in this review is not “just” a watch, it’s much more, it’s a chronometry lesson that can be worn on the wrist. For a few years now,?we’ve?seen ultra-complicated watches with stunning displays, crazy complications and a stupendous amount of finishing. However, we do have to remember that first and most important goal of a watch is to display the time with the highest precision possible. Indeed, before being able to calculate a leap year, a perpetual calendar has to be precise in timekeeping. This path for accuracy is sometimes a bit forgotten, however?Arnold and Son bring us a “back-to-basic” watch, which the single?and only?goal is to display the time (and nothing else) in the most precise (and stunning) way. Don’t expect any displayed complications but expect this watch to be extremely complicated. Hands-on Review of the?Arnold and Son Constant Force Tourbillon. In a recent article, we explained the importance of chr
